I’m a 24 year old girl, and I am SICK and TIRED of having to wait for a guy to call after I give him my number!! If I meet a guy, like him, and trade numbers with him, what’s wrong with me calling and asking a him out on a date before he calls me?! :(

Oh, boo hoo. It’s so hard to be a cute girl. Even Snooki just gasped in surprise at your sense of entitlement. You’ll have to forgive me for not sympathizing immediately with your woeful remonstrations, but I do get it… you want to have your cake and eat it too. Who doesn’t, I suppose. I for one have never understood why even the most enlightened and level headed members of the fairer sex continue to adhere to the shamelessly patriarchal notion that a man must initiate romantic courtship, so yeah, CALL HIM. I don’t know any guy who would give two shits about an attractive girl taking the initiative. In fact, we would like it. Just don’t go too far with the whole taking the initiative thing, or we’ll start to feel emasculated.
